I'm a bit curious about the screenplay, as well. I'm not the most well-versed individual on the HALO canon, but I thought that the Spartans were initially created to fight in human v. human wars. Then the covenant showed up and we have to deflect all our energy toward that crisis. So wouldn't the first spartan really have just been fighting other humans?
A lot of people say that, and while I didn't finish it, I did put in a good 35 hours.
It starts out slow enough, for sure. after a while you start switching main characters and you sit there like "i don't wanna play as them!" Once I realized it was teaching me how to play different styles it started to make more sense. I never play cleric, I alway attack. When I played as Hope, I was the healer; it forced me to be. I appreciated that after a while. I was learning how to play as the individual characters so I could use them to maximum effect later.
does it g\et old, totally. But it really is worth playing through for a long while just to learn how to have fun in the system.
I think they want you to buy games used. They reduce their costs by creating less discs, since it is a given that a significant number of purchases will be used copies, anyway. So really, they get $15 without adding an extra person to the serverload. It's FREE MONEY!
Does it suck that Jaffe and his company don't get a cut from sale of used games? Totally! But really they are sticking it to US, and so are the brick and mortars. When this game gets returned by someone a week or two after it's bought (why, idk, but it will happen at least once). It's used price will be $55. 2-3 months later it'll drop to $35, just like virtually every game. But when you pay that price you only buy half the game. The online passes cost is not reflected in the used price.
I don't like it, and the only way to fight it is to not buy the game at all. So I won't.
Poor developers! Eff them, they are just a money hungry as anyone else. You defend them like they care about you, but they don't. They care about your wallet and that's it. So choosing how to spend your money is the only way you can make a difference. If you ask me, you are all a bunch suckers for buying into it all.
I hear you man. It's hard for me to justify a $60 purchase for a twisted metal game. I totally want it, but I think I want it for $24, and no pass. Old twisted metals were amazing, and it only had local co-op. I think I'd rather keep it that way
@The Great Cornholio The original munches odyssey is backwards compatible but has virtually no sound, and plays like shit! I have tried many times, but they did a TERRIBLE job with it. It is unplayable.
I have both ps3 and xbox, but would rather this be an xbox title
