Wow, they actually worked on this for three years? It could work as some kind of Heavy Rain adventure game, but there are too many questions... I guess we'll never know if this game could be any fun.

@(Unverified) That's the question. The forum moderator who posted the news about DRM was asked the same question and he replied "That's all I can say at present. I am sure that closer to the release, more info will become available." - this could also mean that UbiDRM isn't entirely gone if you have to be online every single time you launch the game.

I'm still a bit worried about this remake. It's definitely getting more marketing this time around, but is it enough? I hope it sells well, because this title is my all-time favorite and I want to see the sequel really bad. What do you think people, is it getting enough attention? How do you rate Ubisoft's marketing attempts?

@Cybexx I'm sure they're releasing the HD remake as some kind of "market probe", they might finally go ahead with the sequel if the remake sells well.

Really exciting they're doing the HD re-release. Of all Ubisoft games, this definitely deserves an HD makeover. I can only hope they're going to release new updates stuff as a patch for the PC release of the game, for example on Steam? It would be really cool, but game companies don't do that these days, don't they?

@Jerk Face Are you joking, I played the game with this settings without any problems. Not to mention you can always plug a gamepad and play that way if you don't like the default setting. Not a big problem.

I'm excited about this, but knowing Ubisoft, the PC version will be released in 2011. I won't be surprised.

It also requires a pernament internet connection or you won't be able to use it.
