Jet Set Radio tags XBLA, PSN, PC this summer, Sega holding graffiti contest

After hearing everyone go gaga over the soundtrack, I tracked it down online (an 800mb collection of it in fact). No wonder you guys are freaking out about it! Awesome. But so far all I've listened to is Hideki Naganuma's music which is pretty awesome.

Wish I had the chance to play this game (or its sequel) when they came out. Unfortunately I didn't. Definitely will pick it up when it is released.

RAGE review: Anger management

@Xcrucio But couldn't you say word of mouth and copies of the game flying off the shelf indicates a miss based on the reviewer? It seems to me to be an issue of unskilled reviewer or reviewer with bias more than anything else.

It would be the equivalent of me reviewing Madden. I don't play sports games. They don't interest me. I would have a horrible job of reviewing them due to this issue. My scores would automatically be skewed due to this bias and ignorance. And that is what I feel like I'm seeing from these reviewers, an either conscious or subconscious bias towards the game.

RAGE review: Anger management

My big concern is that this is the second game they bashed in recent times (Dead Island being the other) that I not only felt was wrong, but felt was factually wrong. Or at least brings into question the ability of the authors to review a game. Given, these are two different games reviewed by two different authors. But comparing what they are reviewing to the experiences that I have had makes it sound like two completely different games.

Examples including but not limited to the loot system (being able to engineer items is only mentioned once in the review, and this is KEY in the game) and character movement. I also couldn't disagree with the complaint about movement, as the game is very fluid with quick aiming capabilities.

Now I know, this is supposed to be opinion based, but twice I have been misled by Joystiq reviews, and I have to question for gamers everywhere who listen to Joystiq, are they missing some incredible games by listening to them?

Dead Island review: In need of brains

My only issue is that there is a lot more to this game than the weapons and loot. What about skill points? What are some of the things that this person liked? If it is a great co-op game, then they should say so. I'm not saying that the game is great, it just seems like they went in with a negative attitude from the get go.

From everything I've read, it is going to go under the flawed yet fun marker until I get some hands on with it.

Crysis 2 review: More than just a suit

When did a shooter that was 10 hours long be considered too long? I find anything shorter than that not worth my time.

I remember when they would auction off the pictures that would go on tour. I wound up winning 2009's Craft Cosmos picture, but I still need to get it framed.

@PS1

Thanks for pointing that out. I found it amusing I put in the uk kotaku address and front and center was the penny arcade strip.

Had to give my vote to "Another Video Game Webcomic"

But I do feel that honorable mention should be given to Penny Arcade's Gawk-Blocking since it fits my opinion and the actions I've taken appropriately.
