If you're unsure about the game, just try the PC demo (got mine through Steam). The crashes are very crazy and they seem to only have gotten better on the 360, not to mention a lot more going on.
All driving games should have the driver flying out the window in slowmo when you crash ;)
About time a 3ed party made an interesting game ONLY for the Wii. Time to see what non-tacked-on controls feel like (unless they can't pull off motion controls properly which would be a shame.)
The concept looks awesome, the game looks nice, can't wait!
It actually doesn't seem to be AS hard as it seems because you don't point at the exact letter you want to use, you merely point at a "block" of letters and then use the left stick to select the color so that it picks out the corresponding letter.
Still, seems like it'll take a while to learn to use and a tad expensive but if you've really gotta text without letting go of the controller this is the only alternative at the moment.
From what I see and what I understand, while they may own the rights, you can definitely take your idea and make a game with it. Portal's already been mentioned, maybe these guys just weren't smart enough to go around the loopholes to sell their game.
This article's just giving off a bad image, it's missinformed and missleading. Shame on you!
I saw a couple and thought they were neat, but they can do much better than what they've done in 30 seconds. Sure it can be hard to summarize a game, but at least SHOW what other stuff you can do. Most demos seem to be played by someone who was just handed the game for the first time.
Don't believe me? Check out the Bonk video where the manin character... DOESN'T bonk anyone and dies.
While no replacement for a demo, these videos should be made with more care as they can make or break the deal.
I'll maybe rent it, but it'd be nice to see a spiderman game that doesn't stick so much to the movie license. The guy who did Spidey's voice on Marvel Ultimate Alliance was much better than McGuire, he sounds bored/stoned.
Game's ugly as heck, maybe the next one should go with a more stylized feel so that this kind of thing doesn't get in the way of enjoying the game.
