If Nintendo does this right, I might finally buy my first Nintendo console since the N64. What worries me is that Sony and Microsoft might announce their next gen consoles a year or two after the Wii U is released, then Nintendo will be on generation behind(in terms of graphics) again. :(
I guess no one ever reads full articles anymore, just what they want to see. In the Sony Blog's Q&A #1 post, their answer to "Q: When will the PlayStation Network and Qriocity be back online?" was: "A: Our employees have been working day and night to restore operations as quickly as possible, and we expect to have some services up and running within a week from yesterday. However, we want to be very clear that we will only restore operations when we are confident that the network is secure."
Now, read that last sentence. They will not turn anything on if they believe the network isn't secure enough. That is why I don't have any expectations on when the network will be back up. It's up when it's up, as simple as that.
Hm, if they ARE rebuilding the PSN, I wonder if it'll look any different than it currently does. Stupid hackers. I hope YOU get hacked and lose everything. :/
Sure, I support hacking. I've hacked my phone and iPod. What I don't support is hacking consoles that connect to a network and interact with millions of other people. Why? Because people can use those hacks to affect others on the network. What's the point of homebrew on consoles? Really, someone enlighten me.
