Jun 2nd 2010 8:52PM (Engadget)Okay, question for the Engadget masses about the Evo: It's been rooted, an assuming the shipping version has the same vulnerability, it should be able to be easily unlocked right? Does that mean - since Sprint customers can roam on Verizon's EVDO network - you could technically buy an EVO from HTC, unlock it, and use it on Verizon? Sure, you'll be missing the 4g speeds, but this phone is just so amazing it might be worth it.
