I think the problem is that compared to everything you could find gross or be possibly afraid of, homophobia is a very goofy and stupid fear. Its like being afraid of deodorant or Comic Sans Font.

Not to mention, last time I checked kissing is not illegal and neither is affection. While they cannot have sex in public, why control people's legal freedoms?

I use to live in bad neighborhoods and I climbed my way out. Not only has my family experienced hard racism from both sides, but I am a mixed person so I get the joy of people being confused because they cannot put me in a race Tupperware box to make there life easier. It also sucks that because I have brown skin and a beard that people think I am an Arab Terrorist when I have no Arab relations what so ever.

Not to mention, look at the way our government is. I hate anti-American views from other countries, but I am fully aware of why people view us like that.

I do agree that we should not care that they are black but more that they do something for humanity.
