My question is, why were the DJs fired? Why not the PR people who thought this up? Why not management who approved it? Why not the guy who went out and bought all that water?
Just going after the DJs is pretty stupid. Radio DJs can't run a contest like this without the radio station signing off on it.
Basically, the CEO of that radio station signed her death warrant! Go after him, he's got mon- I mean, he's responsible! He forced her to drink that water, he tied her down and forcefed her, or her kids would die!
Waitasec, she chose to do something stupid. It killed her. Don't they give Darwin Awards for these things?
Exactly the point I was making. Car & gun makers have more immunity to the result of their products misuse than video games, and their products are for more destructive.
My only question is if the review stunk, why'd it get posted in the first place? I thought editors were there for this type of situation, to keep an article from going up if it doesn't meet standards or anything of the like.
Granted, it is a website, but you'd think they'd have some kind of process to check articles before they put them out into the wild.
The half-assed 'Mod a cheap wireless controller into the SG Controller body' method will not work. They've changed out how it registers the presence of an SG Controller.. However, if you go the better method of splicing a RF unit into the PS2 controller cable and mounting it to the guitar (or even inside the guitar), that will work.
