The sale is a publisher driven incentive, gamestop actually takes very little of a loss and in turn they get a kick back for moving x amount of skus, example...sell x copies of this get a 20% bump in your infamous 2 allocation and this discount. Its a win for both the puplisher and gamestop. Which is now where everyone starts the gs hate and how they are the root of all evil.

I, like you own both systems. I pay for live, netflix, hulu plus, and psplus. Even though its only been a month, my value is being able to fully utilize what I paid for. Ive purchased numerous items from both market places and even though the online features of the ps3 are free the content on it is not . So the value of it is that I have money tied up on something I cant use? And this isnt the first time just the longest the psn has had issues whereas ive never had any issues doing anything over live, which tells me I get what I pay for. So when your speaking of value right now for me the ps3 is an actual waste of money. But im just one individual, and im rational enough to know psn will be back up. But for my value I will never sink money into anything for it again. so people with only a ps3 switching to something else is not that illogical.

@RobT because they are have to actually build it, not just pile on more crap from the same broken network its always been. They finally had it shoved in their face ( and wallet) that just piling crap on to your outdated systems ( ps2 ) network cannot stand up to other services. And the best part is the "free" stuff their giving you will have to pay for after 30 days to keep,

Netflix has the workaround per what cmjdm posted, but come on SONY this has gotton rediculas. Specifically for psn plus members. This is why ill definately not be renewing that again. Back to live I go, never delt with this many consistant issues. Youd think even an email to members explaining whats up would would be somewhat curtious, but then again thats never been sonys thing guess they wont change
