I always found this commercial a little funny only because Jonah Hill (The Noob) actually doesnt like video games, he thinks they are a waste of time.
But I have to agree with most that the thing that drew me to minecraft was the exploration, and creation aspects of the game. The satisfaction comes from building something you had to actually work for. Granted I always like the idea of user created levels for play in shooters and other genres. I just think they could do it without using that look.
there really is no longer a reason to have store specific pre-order DLC. I cant think of a game that had pre-order dlc that didnt eventually come out later.
@eat it Yes actually it stands for "Defense of the Ancients" Its just that everyone called it DotA (notice the spelling) Valves is Dota 2. Valve even went as far as to hire the guy that made the mod. The concept, design and gameplay are also pretty much the same as well. But valve is not calling it "Defense of the Ancients 2"
I hope they do this right, like going back to episodic gaming. Where we get a smaller but good game. We've got it in the past with the DLC from games like Fallout and Borderlands, so its possible!
Not to harp on any game in particular, but why do they always need to put out some kind of game based on an upcoming movie these days? Not saying they are all bad (loved the old 007 games) but it just seems they are putting it out just because they can.
@joer22784 You get to play as lightning during some parts of the game. One of the main quests of the game is that your searching for her. The DLC is just a way to let people have the character in their party even though she's not originally supposed to be in it, due to the storyline.
Guncraft is Minecraft with guns or Call of Duty with blocks, pick one
