@nerdquest Well its a lot more complicated. Is it the same style and type of game? Sure, but minecraft didnt just take every little thing and just reskin it. They took the basic principle and expanded upon it in their own way. Fortress Craft took Minecraft and made a console version of it. Course Minecraft has evolved so much since then that it doesnt even matter. I think people will forget FC when MC releases on XBLA. Terraria is another good example of a game that takes the same principles of mining and turning it into something different.
I wonder if Microsoft will take a similar stance and target some of the clones on their indie channel. While I know they dont exactly do much of anything (if at all) on the channel, there are some rip offs such as "Angry Fish" and "Fortress Craft"
I have to agree with other people here. For most current EA games they have you sign up for an account to use certain aspects of the game, thus you have an origin account cause they are connected. I only have one becuase of Mass Effect 2. So I dont think this is a fair estimate of accounts that were signed up for Origin.
I think it will be interesting, one can only hope that when something like this happens that it will work out well for everyone. Sometimes a fresh perspective can be inovative. Course the other result can happen as well. Only time will tell.
