While I respect your point, the issue with your analogy is that we're dealing with metacritic, which means we're dealing with opinions, not standardized appraisals. That means one reviewer who had a bad day while playing this game could have cost Obsidian a considerable amount of money.

I will say that Mr. Grayson's just taken a good crack at Richard Mitchell's throne for my favorite reviewer on this site. This was really well written.

This is exactly why Metacritic is and always has been a bad idea.
