@oldblue Well emulation works well for psp games and psn ports then that's great. But this is SE we're talking about... not very confident. I do hope they do it well, I'm still on my old PSP and would love to see some refresh/upgrade.
More importantly - PSP's have a life of much more than 2 years. A phone typically lasts for 2 years. Can this be reonciled, or are we gonna have fragmentation of the game layer over the andriod one?
And then this is SE we're talking about, not Sony per se. There's no gurantee that Playstation is on board. Not yet at least.
And finally, how easily can the phone OS support gaming? I doubt it's easy to port PS games to Andriod.
I think the issue is that we have a measureable, replicable result that Apple refuses to acknowledge. It may not affect many, but dismissing what's plainly there just comes across as being dishonest.
I remember when Wii remote was found to have a tendency to fly off your hand... Nintendo gave free straps. It's really as simple as that... it was a recognised barrier enjoying the "product experience", lets fix it, and move on.
Recalls may not even be necessary - we'll leave lawyers to sort that out. But showing some goodwill by being upfront to customers should be a given...
