@obie I work at a Wal-Mart and I can confirm, it is a dark and evil place, filled with the sobs and desperate cries of old people who remember the "good old days", middle agers realizing they will never get out, and young folks who are scared of becoming the middle agers or, god help them, the old people. That being said though, I'm not sure they ever completely left the used game market. The website somewhat regularly offers the option to buy used copies of games. Admittedly though, that could just be left over stock from the first attempt.
