Blizzard interview: Leo Boyarsky and Kevin Martens on Diablo 3

Joystiq, end the cruelty... stop the interviews and let them go so they can finish the game already!

Calling all commenters: Submit your Batman blurb

I got the game home after a midnight release, excited to play it. I popped it into my PS3, and quickly came to the cruel realization I couldn't play it until the game installed to the hard drive. The install screens look really nice.

The game is better than the install screens... but not better than a Baconator. Bacon makes everything better. Of course, if I find hidden bacon somewhere in Arkham, I could officially say that this is the best game ever.

I just realized that the off-brand multivitamin I've been taking has "MULTIPLE VITAMINS" on the label. No joke.

Theme Hospital!

I'd really love to see what a game like Theme Hospital would do with our current health care system... and hopefully placing enough seats, drink machines, and radiators won't be the biggest concern.

Plus, it had multiplayer even then, so of course it could have multiplayer now.

Want a bigger friends list? Stop playing Halo 2 online!

Aug 11th 2009 3:18AM (Joystiq)
I haven't played Halo 2 in a very long time; however, I feel that that having more than 100 friends on your friends list doesn't come close the awesomeness of continuing online support for any video game.

I'm in no way concerned with any form of nostalgia, but I believe video games are a form of art, education, and entertainment far more valuable to us than anything else. Graphics do not matter in art, it's what the art represents and portrays. Gameplay is the equivalent to this in video games, and online play is an important part of this... especially for games like Halo.

I wish for a day where every video game in history could continue on in it's original form, multiplayer included. I know that day will never happen, but I will do my part to support it.

Based on this reasoning, I am going to buy a new copy of Halo 2 first thing in the morning to support keeping the online play active.

I"ve been reading since around April 2006, not long before Nintendo announced the name "Wii". My local Gamestop actually had several employees that didn't just play Madden, and in conversation about how awesome the new Zelda looked, one of the employees recommended that I read Joystiq for any upcoming "Nintendo Revolution" rumors. Now I have to read it every day to make sure I don't miss a single article. I can't wait until this "Wii" comes out. It sounds awesome.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits (now with more Guitar Hero II)

Apr 24th 2009 1:11AM (Joystiq)
Sweet Child O' Mine was by far my favorite song to play on guitar of any song in Guitar Hero or Rock Band. I am severely disappointed that it was left out. I'm sure Welcome to the Jungle will be in the Guitar Hero 3 songs, but Sweet Child O' Mine would have been so much more fun to play as a group.

CoD 4: Over 10 million served, 2.8% survive 'Airplane' on veteran

I didn't count exactly, but my number of tries was somewhere around 50. I'd knife the guy in the bathroom, then duck into the room on the left. I'd toss a nade at the stairs, clear it out quick, then die as soon as I ran upstairs. I think I just got lucky one time. Totally worth the effort, so much fun.
