This was a punishment from apple for not still upgrading yet. iPhone 3G is 2 generations old people! Everyone knows you HAVE to upgrade every single year! As far as apple is concerned iPhone 3G is only about one generation more advanced than a rock. So you should be thankful to still be able to install iOS4 on your advanced rock (eventhough functionality is about par to a rock with iOS4 installed).

how much? huawei has something similar for a gsm device for about 200 bucks.

If he is implying that the design have to be bigger for the antenna to be effective, he is taking us for fools. Those android phones are bigger because of bigger screens! Hello steve jobs, there are phones a third the size of iPhone that actually makes proper phone calls.

Thinkpad is just a sad shell of its' former self. Today's thinkpads are expensive and damn cheap plastic pieces of crap.

Mega fail? you don't get full voltage laptops any thinner than this, the DVD drive is icing on the cake.

I had a pretty good look at the i7 model, very impressive spec, BUT quite a cheap looking machine up close, that's a turn-off. the plastic keyboard looks and feels cheap/mushy as well, not as good as 4810 timeline series.

but for almost half the price of a similarly spec'ed macpro/vaio z, it's a pretty good deal, if looks is a non-factor.

That is one tiny battery, I doubt that it will last a full working day.
