THAT'S how they get you? What about the freakin' price of the tv's? That's insane, considering 3d tv prices have dropped to under $1000 for an ok one about 40-50". /end rant
Well, it is cool technology, but until the price comes down, I won't even consider it. Hell, I am not even considering regular 3d yet, so who knows.
I WANT to like this game, but I heard since their lead designer or something left, it's suffering. Some previews were calling it a quick-time-filled game, which is not at all consistent with the other Ninja Gaiden's. Hopefully the final product will be better.
What? How? How could they have made a profit over the game? This must be the people who did NOT look at the reviews or people who already pre-ordered, because I don't see how else they could have made any money on this. The only people who could possibly think this game was good are either lying to themselves or don't play many games (if any).
I totally agree, I played Bad Company 2 (still do) a lot, and the upgrades were all unlocked less than a month after I started playing. But after having played it and seen how it works, I think I can understand the idea behind it. People don't want to be unlocking stuff the entire game, they want to get to the point where they're maxed out in everything, and can get into a game with any class knowing they're not at a disadvantage.
Personally, I can see how having tons of unlocks is cool, but I can understand that people want their stuff FAST, so they can start using them.
@xiLeShadow How exactly did they ditch their RPG history? With DA2? That's an RPG right there. Mass Effect? Even ME1 had light RPG elements, so it's can't be considered a true RPG. ME2, yes, moved away a bit more from the traditional RPG stuff. But that's pretty much it. If you're saying that because you didn't LIKE DA2, then that's another thing.
ME3 having multi-player: Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 +exp and Neverwinter Nights had multiplayer. They've done it before, so why the complaints now before it's even out? And ME is also a shooter, so that should make it easier and more accessible. Now, if the game comes out the multi-player totally sucks and ruins the game, then yeah, people will be all over them. But Bioware is known for a good story, so they'll make it work.
So many complaints out of people, which is fine, but one complaint doesn't lead to the other. DLC for DA2 means JUST THAT. There's DLC. If you didn't like DA2, then fine, that has nothing to do with what BioWare is capable of. There's a lot of far-reaching conclusions to things completely unrelated.
