To be fair, Split/Second had a shitty demo, while the Blur beta was fairly robust.

Are they seriously trying to say this will come on, what, one disc? Multiple discs is multiple discs, I don't give a crap if there's an extra disc because they had to fit in another audio track. I also don't give a crap about Japanese voice overs, but it's still a cop-out answer.

I'm thinking Wolverine will get *murdered* by Star Trek next week, but I could be wrong. To be honest, I hope Wolverine doesn't turn out to be too profitable ($150 mil plus marketing?); like you said, I didn't hate it, but Fox doesn't need to be rewarded too much for making it. I'd be interested in a Director's Cut DVD, however.

I was good with Dead Man's chest, too, but I still don't know what happened to At World's End. In fairness, though, it's a little better with repeated viewings.

However, Davy Jones (the Pirates version) is one of my favorite movie villians *ever*. Moreso in Dead Man's Chest.

If an advancement for a medium is only useful for some movies, then it obviously does nothing to enhance the story telling and is very much a gimmick. And if I'm told (as so many internet peoples tend to do) that the only to get the full experience of a movie is to watch it in 3D, which I see as a cheesy gimmick, then the movie has already failed on so many levels it's laughable. I will continue to never watch the 3D versions of movies, and if that ever makes a movie unwatchable, I have o problems skipping it altogether. But that's just me. =)
