Apple fans are used to paying absurd prices for products.

I still don't understand why Apple gouges their customers left and right, bullies vendors, and operates one with one of the most anti-consumer mindsets, and yet still has this rabid following of fans who believe Apple can do no wrong.

has Apple ever really made huge changes in their product lines? The iphone is almost three years old now, and is still basically the same phone as when it launched, with minor upgrades along the way.

@HardToBelieve I don't think people are selling their iphones as much as the novelty of browsing the internet on a tiny screen has begun to wear off for them. With so many new Android devices being release in the last six months, there are alot of users just now getting their first smart phone, and are spending more time playing around with them.

I'd love to see a chart of web usage of smartphone owners during a two year period from purchase to upgrade. I'd imagine you would see a slow decline in web usage as the user settles into a routine.

Apple really needs to start releasing iphones with multiple carriers.

I don't see how a company can launch a $400 wifi only E-reader with a much more limited e-book store and expect anyone to buy the thing. I can buy a Intl 3G Kindle and an 8GB ipod touch for $35 more, why on earth would I buy this thing?

How can picture clarity be the same when the pixels are so much more spread out? Shouldn't there be a drop in picture quality?

Look, Nintendo managed to find another way to INCREASE the price of a system that is almost six years old now. Instead of dropping prices, they just keep launching more and more variations of the hardware.
