IMDb for Windows Phone 7 reviewed, very yellow indeed (video)

@Sebastian I'd say that 'no rooting' will only last until hackers find a way to subvert it. Hackers will hack it in no time. Why? Just because we can.

"Is there anything good on?......*1 minute after scrolling through list* Jackass 3D now we're talking"

*Shoots self in the face*

Good review nonetheless. I'll definitely be taking a closer look at WP7 applications because I love the interface, I'm a sucker for mosaic.

Facebook -- with or without Google -- will destroy the world as we know it

Nov 17th 2010 4:16PM (Download Squad)
I say bring it. I have nothing to hide. Normally this would equate to a boring life but for me it is more or less due to my aggressive narcissism. Who cares that I went cliff gliding naked (or want to go sky diving the same way)? My information is who I am, if I lie about it, hide it, than I am not being true to my true self, and my real self is a lot more interesting than any fake me I could create

:D That is one side of this. However, on the other side I can understand why people would see this as a bad thing, I see it as a thing (I don't believe in good or bad) that has the potential to cause damage. I'm not nessarcrly against the chaos but to me the average person already fears life, there is no reason to play to those fears and make people even more insecure about their security. Bad Doggy, Bad Facebook Doggy.

Opera 11 will feature standards-based extensions

Oct 14th 2010 1:02PM (Download Squad)
I AM EXCITED. So excited so that I had to type the first sentence in all capital letters. The only reason I shy away from using Opera as my default was because of the lack of extensions (real extensions). Now I can have my cake (customization) and icing (extensions). I'm elated with all the win going on in this post.

Diaspora puts out Developer Release -- source code is here!

I'm excited about this only because it is new; It is the same reason I just rejoined twitter so I could check out their new interface as they roll it out over the next few weeks. After I get bored of it I'll drop it (like it's hot).

Foursquare breaks 3 million users, now tells you when you'll be mayor

:| I don't exactly understand the point of this ... sure it could be pointless and only made for fun... but I don't exactly understand how this is fun either.

Thousands of Firefox add-ons already work on Firefox 4

I use to be a pure minefield user. Always liked being on the edge of the advancements of Mozilla. This caused a lot of programs to be incompatible with my build. There is a very quick fire around this and it works with every build of Minefield and Firefox. Just download the Nightly Tester Tools.

(I've switched to chromium)

Google adds more official themes for Chrome -- to the Extensions Gallery?

Aug 28th 2010 10:29PM (Download Squad)
Inventive Theme is pretty lovely, but I want to know how to change the way chrome looks completely. If there are any mods for that like tabs on the button (of the browser not the mainbar) I'm looking for more creative control

New version of Digg released; face-lifted, faster, but is it too little too late?

Aug 26th 2010 1:24PM (Download Squad)
StumbleUpon is probably the best of the three sites. I never really got into the whole dig or reddit thing. To me the new dig looks better but I would have went in a different direction with the design. Change is good!

The Black Keys headed to Rock Band next week

Aug 13th 2010 4:26AM (Joystiq)
haha; I just found this band a few days ago when randomly going through a list of music and downloading random albums [that is how I find all my music. It helps me find a good variety instead of just listening to the same stuff and opens my mind to lots of different musicians] I love this band and this might be the first rock band that I actually find myself buying. Especially with the piano!
