No 3D Blu-ray movie support for PS3 this summer
May 17th 2010 11:18AM (Joystiq)I have a Samsung DLP with aftermarket shutterglasses and my pc running the 3d games and videos. The only problem is most companys aren't supporting the "Checkerboard" format that DLP uses.
At least Panasonics 3d blu ray player will support it, and Sony has yet to be seen.
Powerdvd 10 is also going to support 3d Blu Ray for checkerboard.
If you have one of these 3d ready Samsungs or Mitsubishi DLP's, you should be able to upgrade at a reasonable cost.
