He said "Its just plane rubbish". I believe his intent was not to compare the review to an airplane, but to the rubbish generated by one, such as empty peanut packages, mini soda cans, and used barf bags. Taken this way, it's a fairly witty and stinging retort. People on the internet are often subtle and clever like that, aren't they?
"...Sandbox mode, which will let players run around Fortune City and cause as much mayhem as wanted "without having to worry about the clock."
Suddenly, I'm interested in the game. I skipped DR2 because having to worry about the clock killed the fun for me in the original DR. I wanted to take my sweet time looking around, experimenting, and finding fun new ways to kill zombies, but I was always nervous I'd miss a deadline.
@Courtney Pinball FX2 is a blast. I bought it when it first came out, and I still play it all the time. They've done a nice job of keeping it fresh by introducing new tables. The Marvel tables are by far my favorites, but the basic tables are cool, too.
Can't wait to play the Ms. Splosion Man table. Next Wednesday can't get here soon enough!
I got to try this game out earlier this year at PAX East. I really enjoyed it and was hoping we'd see it as part of the Summer of Arcade. I hope we at least get a release date for it soon.
Not going to watch, because I'm already practically vibrating with anticipation for this game, and if my hype level gets any higher, my teeth might fall out. I need this to be released yesterday.
I'll definitely be grabbing this on the 13th. With most XBLA games, I wait for a sale, but I'm happy to show Twisted Pixel some love for not bringing it out at 1200 points.
I'd like to see a bunch of new characters. Something, anything to shake it up. As much as I love the Soul Calibur series, I was starting to feel burnt out on it with IV.
