Diablocraft III is slowly going the way of Torcraft, in the way of "very big hype, very little pay off".
I want to be excited, but I just can't. All the mediocre gameplay decisions(no skillpoints or statpoins? SERIOUSLY? NO MODDING? extensive always-online DRM? RMAH? Really, actiblizz, REALLY?) made sure that I most likely won't even bother with this game.
The news about senior producer leaving the project just cemented it for me.
Getting flashbacks of Dragon Age II now, with the DA:O lead producer quitting during DAII development because he was dissatisfied with the direction....
On one hand I could not care less about the MEIII considering I did not enjoy ME2 (yeh, sue me, I am an rpg guy and its no longer rpg and I liked more unique atmospheric setting of exploration ME1 had)
ON OTHER HAND....ANYTHING and everything connected to SMG I MUST HAVE/watch/buy.
@smartstep and europe has ACTA circulating around, which is well, even more shady due to pure fact that NO ONE is allowed to know on the specifics of it.
Bing and yahoo might be nice and etc, but google IS the biggest one. Its not just search engines. Its youtube. VERY popular email system, an entire model of ad-revenue system, one of the most popular map systems and so on.
Google doing that would certainly have an ultra huge impact and make EVERYONE notice the issue :)
Truth Hurts. Oh well. Nothing new. Just Bioware trying to sound awesome and implyng that their product was so innovative that people just did not get it.

Its sort of their trademark.
Might seem silly, sure, but as far as brand recognition goes, pretty damn effective...
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning dev diary features soundtrack
Jan 25th 2012 11:30AM (Joystiq)Combat is awesome, graphics are refreshing in the era of "brown realism" and the utter RPG-ness of it all is just awesome.
Also, the world is BEAUTIFUL.
Have not been hyped for a game this much for a long long time.

Jan 19th 2012 7:12PM (Massively)Diablo franchise was dead the moment Blizzard North was destroyed.
I guess I'll wait for Torchlight II. at least that one FEELS like diablo game, instead of a thing made purely to sell RMAH items.
