@A Sandwich I know what you mean, with Metal Gear Solid, Tales of the Abyss, Kid Icarus, Heroes of Ruin in addition to Resident Evil Revelations all coming out in a 3 month period, the 3DS is getting a lot of high quality games all at once. I remember the DS having the same drought of games, and I think the 3DS is doing much better at this point.
To be fair though, it would be best to reserve judgement for about this time next year to see what the Vita has for a proper comparison.
My province, Ontario did this a few years ago to stimulate the economy. I had moved to the US since then, so I never got to see first hand how it turned out.
Taxing the hell out of businesses? You do realize that companies can claim losses on their taxes, right? You do realize that Verizon and AT&T both got massive tax returns and paid NOTHING in taxes last year, right? If we were taxing the hell out of them, shouldn't we get that money instead of handing it out?
I played both games and some of their sequels, and they were a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I had the original releases and I could never get them to work on any Windows machines, dammit.
Dragon Age 2 had terrible writing and the characters were poorly presented. The voice acting was ok, but the writing itself was no where near as good as when Gaider was writing in Dragon Age Origins.
