I too had this issue and my first, knee-jerk reaction was to delete my save file. Fortunately, it happened only an hour into my game time. It happened later on (when I was at about 85% complete), and I opted for the restart route - my sigh of relief could be heard for miles around.

Oh, and love the game - my GOTY for sure (though Skyrim is currently embedded in my PS3 drive...)

Ugh. The Reboot Freddy? Why, Neatherealm, why?

Hopefully these will turn out better than the Iron Man games...

As to the story at hand, this shows just how misrepresented the Game Industry is to the larger Media, unforunately.

Ironically, there's probably a shite ITV Drama in the works.

The last time I said I thought a video-game based movie looked any good was Silent Hill, and - well - I was wrong.

All of the 'it's been in development longer than time itself' jokes aside - and I'm sorry to break anyone's rose-tinted glasses - but that looked... bland. I know, I know, a few seconds of shaky-cam footage is nothing to go on, and I feel that 3D Realms are pandering to the joke by revealing it this way, but for a series that has so many fans (myself included), I can't help but feel that this was very disappointing.

Honestly? I'm expecting Daketana-esque reviews.
