'Massive Multiplayer' + Online. Doesn't matter how big the world is, it matters how many people are on at once in the 'world'. *a massive amount is the goal* And who cares if its not an MMO, this has nothing to do with weather its a good game or not
Most people seemed to be forgetting the Unique part and focus on the Favorite part. But now that I think about it I'm not sure there are any really unique classes out there. Maybe that's a side effect of playing too much EQ2 (a necro and a conjurer may play very different, but are still both summoners)
The problem is with your processor *and how eq2 works with it* Eq2 was designed to run on a single core in the 3~4 gig range. Almost all the rendering is done processor side. Your 2.5 gig *multi core or not, I don't really think eq2 supports it, not matter what they say* is sadly too slow. I can understand why they can't recode the whole system to work off your graphics card more, but I don't see why they can't use multi core better.
