You aren't alone. I love it. Although I prefer the non-trigger PS2 version, simply because I dont play FPS games. So I would rather R2 and L2 be buttons and not triggers.

Why would anyone care to get a DVD Wii? Who doesn't have a DVD player at this point. And besides its so cheap now to get one that upconverts, why would anyone want one that can only output at standard def in this day and age?

Seems pointless to me, equally as pointless as not being dvd capable to begin with.

...And this is why I own a PSP. Maybe I like my games not having to be converted into cartoon-cute to even be considered for a platform.

It's good to see Sony getting back on top in both the hardware and software fronts.

Oh really, the PC store was a step towards this, and that was something the delivered on pretty quickly after they announced they would be doing it. I expect it to be a 5.0 sort of release. With a psp accessible store. The only thing that keeps the psp from being the perfect digital device is the lack of a harddrive or onboard flash storage. The I believe will the biggest feature of perhaps the next system (whether it be a redesign or the psp2).

They are different, in part because is not just a meaningless number that can be redeemed for nothing whatsoever, But its an object that can be redeemed for nothing whatsoever.

I think people underestimated what sony actually had to do to make In game XMB work. Keep in mind they had to essentially reconfigure how the OS was loaded. During a game, the os was not given enough resources to make having the XMB come up during gameplay possible. So this took quite a bit of software engineering on their part to make that happen without screwing with games.

If I hear any more synonyms for casual gaming, I am going to vomit. The 360 will NEVER be as mass market as the Wii. Not when the average owner is still the guy that bought Gears and Halo and Call of Duty. And shoehorned attempts like Viva Pinata are wastes of time and money. It needs to accept what it is.

I dont think there is a lack of games, and if there was it wouldnt be because of piracy, but poor sales. Japan also had/has an issue selling PSP software, but that market has shown that sells can be made with the right game (notice how I said "the right game" and not "a good game", timing and the right market can be as important to sales as quality).

I think the reason the games dont sell is there isnt a concentrated type of gamer on the psp. Because of all of its features, its attracted a varied group of people who respond to different aspects of the device and differing tastes in games. So to make a game like Loco Roco, it will only appeal to a certain number of the install base because they dont have as similar tastes to eachother as the majority of ds buyers. But you cant say piracy ISNT a factor either. All you have to do is to a simple search and find hundred of sites with torrents for psp titles. And on has to admit that its an easier task on the psp (phat) than it is on many other systems.
