He is saying that a Blu ray player will cost 1000 euros or more and that a game console costs well below 500 euros. He mention that the PS3 will be within that area.

So the PS3 will be priced anywhere between "well below 500" to "1000 or more".

It's not about the game it's about the PhysX engine. The PhysX engine is included in the PS3's dev kit. PC and 360 developers can still license the PhysX engine from Ageia but having it included in the Dev Kit makes it easier and more accesible to PS3 developers. Not to mention the engine included in the PS3 dev kit is already optimised for the Cell processor. This means that there will probably be more PS3 games that will use Ageia PhysX than PC or 360.

I hope the keep the analog sticks where they are. I like the symmetry having both analog sticks down low, instead of one up high and one down low. (Like XBox and GC)
