I'm the poor sap who reviewed it for Xboxic (link's in my name, plug) and yes, they were absolutely horrible. Assault Heroes' load times are acceptable because it loads an entire zone, and Oblivion's are acceptable because unless you warp they don't interrupt gameplay. (Also, the game is huge.) In addition, these are actually good games.

What Sonic does, is you talk to the townsperson, then it loads forever, then he talks to you again, then it loads again, then you play the mission, then it loads again, and gives you your ranking, and one more load screen before you get back into town.

Needless to say this game was sold.

Wii: Trauma Center and NFS (early, since Wii was lonely).
360: COD3, Civil War, Tony Hawk, camera and wireless headset.

+ giftcards out the butt. One went to a Wavebird for Skies of Arcadia and VC games, since I can't find that stupid classic thing.

And I bought myself a Wii and 1000 points which went to Super Mario Bros. (I didn't buy it twice, so 500 points are left. No sales tax!) To think, ten years ago I was unwrapping my N64 and Mario 64, my first games ever. Boy did that spiral out of control. :)

To the guy who got Sonic 360: My deepest sympathies, at least you didn't pay full price ;)

I have it, and the very little I've played thus far (up to Fin Fang Foom) is very fun. I've lagged a bit, but other than that I'm enjoying it.

I didn't even watch it. I'm very proud of myself :)

Picking up PSU and Marvel next week and Lego Star Wars II for free in that 3-for-2 deal TRU is having.

I'm a bit sad that JLU hasn't done well, and that I heard being Batman is no fun. Really? X-Men Legends with Batman is no fun? I don't get it...

I've decided that more than $20, $25 for a game and I EXPECT a box and manual. This is why I will be buying Lumines Plus on the PS2 instead :)

Hahahah! And he didn't even mention anything ABOUT it. Just said "And I like Halo...and Halo 2. [end commercial.]" Just throwing the names out there.

He could probably beat me in Halo 2.

If you also notice, he only mentions mainstream games. People know NFS, FIFA, and Halo. If he said "Project Gotham" or "Lost Planet" (two of the system's real winners) the commercial'd have no effect.
