After playing this game for a good several hours, all I have to say is this.

If all what you want from games is for them to be nice and shiny and wow you with pretty graphics with the same old stale gameplay package, stay away from this game.

If you want a rich, compelling shooter-RPG experience and can live with unpolished production values and technical flaws, this game is a godsend. It's the anti-thesis of Mass Effect 2, which dumbed down the RPG elements in favor of the blasting. This game doesn't have the silky smooth, streamlined shooting gameplay of Mass Effect 2, but it does offer a level of depth and complexity which is reminiscent of Deus Ex. Wonderful game thus far.
