Also none of the characters are really likable and many are really annoying. At least for the first several hours of the game.

The only thing this article mentions is the linearity. What about the boring combat? Not only did you "watch" the game from a linearity perspective, but during combat all you did was press auto-battle the entire time and occasionally switch your class (can't remember what they're called in the game).

Yawn.

I fall asleep every time I try to play FF13. It's a bad FF game.
