I guess i don't hear much about chinese philanthropy, personal or government - which I fully expect is a media dissemination problem. I presume it exists at some level, but it's cool to hear at least one company is awesomely humanitarian.

I don't disagree that's what pontiac became, but if you're going to spend the money and effort to turn a brand around, and you're looking for younger buyers of 'performance' cars.. I guess I'd rather have seen pontiac get more love than buick. Build actual pontiacs instead of sunfires.

I don't understand why GM is spending so much time and energy to attempt to re-orient Buick to non-fuddy-duddy status. Wouldn't killing Buick and getting Pontiac back on track have been a better option?

I'm... almost speechless. First, apple puts out a product with user accessible batteries. THEN, they put out a product that's in no way better than tons of things on the market, and there's no outrageous overpricing.

More than the technology, it's Motorola's customer base they're after.. Verizon, for one, has lots of Moto equipment and (little to) no NSN equipment. They're buying this for a foot in the door of markets/customers they don't have currently.
