A very long time, and almost a decade for this type of fantasy TBS game too. Delicious, glad I preordered it when I did (it's been a long haul since alpha though).

Pretty much! I'm surprised it took so long for anyone to say that. There has been some consensus throughout the beta that one side or another is slightly more OP at one point. It has changed over and over though, so they must be pretty close overall. More than close enough for skill to be the ultimate determinant.
