Cryptic make crap. Great statement. Totally agree.
"Thanks for paying for beta testing the game for a year and a half. Also do you want to buy some XP bonus or a ship".
I will give them some credit, they know how to exploit a rabid fan base that love everything Star Trek and fleece em silly. Still George does the same to me but I keep on coming back for more so more fool me :)...
I would prefer more like SFC3 then STO. Thats the last thing I want is anything compared to STO :)...
That said, I am more than happy with Ground Combat than space. If it was an Xwing or Falcon you got to fly then yes, but since this is way before, I don't find the ships as iconic thus not fussed about space. Give me my purple lightsaber!!!
I remember buying this junk for £25 and only playing for 2 weeks as it was dull...
I am interested to try the F2P model but I will never give a pound again to Cryptic.
I bought STO for £40 when that came out and never subscribed past the first month.
Cryptic games are shallow and boring and as you Americans say "Nickle and Dime" their customers with Cstore stuff.
Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice then what an pratt I am...
£200 squid for a Life time subscription - Bah...
What are they gonna do with Neverwinter eh!
Oh and Darren Kitlor, your sucking up to Cryptic makes me sick. Your such a fanboy and they never do wrong on any games as most of your STO posts say. I think you either work for them secretly or want to!
Is it worth trying out again? I played my original toon that I had before the NGE, nearly a year ago for 14 days free and it didn't grab me as it seemed everywhere was dead and I was still in the throes of WoW and EvE. I understand they have merged some servers. Would this make it feel like there are others playing? Plenty to do?
As I cannot do the trial again I would have to resubscribe but is it worth my £10 squid (or whatever).
