@Deschain and it also took Blizzard 3-5 years to get the balance to where it is now. Best believe they cannot afford to do that with Starcraft 2.

And to kill all the haters about the 3 separate episodes. Each single player campaign is somewhere around 20/30+ missions. More than enough to justify each episode as it's own game. As for multiplayer, the only way they'll not let people with episode 1 play with people with episode 2, is if they add units to the multiplayer in episode 2. Given the amount of time they put into balancing the game prior to release with the units they have... I don't see them adding units at all to multiplayer because it would negate all of the balance testing they did during the beta.

@Colostomeboy If Blizzard does it right, and not like Valve, where episodic gaming means a new episode within 1/2 years instead of a new game in 5... it'll be fine. For a GOTY edition with all 3 episodes, you're still looking at 3 years till you can buy it. Can you really wait that long when everyone praises it as probably the best RTS game in a decade (or all time)?

Just to let everyone know, the minimum requirements are designed for the "low" graphical settings (I assume). The low graphical settings look like crap imo. I had to run it on low with my old PC before it died. Built a new one with a Dual core 3.0ghz processor, 2 gigs of DDR3, and Geforce 9800gt EE and it looks 100x better. Don't expect it too look anywhere near acceptable if you're barely meeting the min. requirements. Think WC3 with a higher resolution and more bland colors/graphics.

OnLive duo pitch platform they believe will 'change the world'

@Wookie500 Their banking on people not wanting to upgrade their computers to play games. But personally I can't see thinking it's a great deal. However, the "Same price, less features" company motto seems to be working well for Apple, so maybe they'll actually make a bunch of money anyway.

My friend was in the beta so he had it running last night. He loaded up FEAR 2 and I asked to just move the mouse around a little bit. Yup.. input lag. Completely ruins FPS games, sorry :\
