I was "raised on Nintendo" - I was the first guy at school to get SMB3, saw The Wizard the first weekend it was out, actually bought a damn Power Glove, etc. I've managed to shake them easily since then because they have failed to live up to what they produced in the 8 & 16 bit eras.

It's not hard. My wallet will go to who provides the best gaming experience. Right now it's easily the 360, and I'll probably be adding a PS3 to my lineup down the road as well. The Wii isn't even a blip on the radar.

They do have good games here and there, but by and large it's the same old, same old even when the game IS good. You know things are sad when people point to New SMB Wii as a "new thing," when it's an updated rehash of one of Nintendo's oldest games.

I'll take Ape Tit for $200.

Uh, that should be pleaded, not pleased. I shouldn't be on hold with a client and have music on while trying to post.

Horse armor...the thing that started us all down this goddamn slippery slope. I screamed...begged...PLEASED for people not to buy it, because it would send a message that people would pay for meaningless crap.

Now look where we are. Ugh.

Alex - me too, but this isn't enough to convince me to buy a PS3.

Oh, and remember how the TV series ended? With ALF being taken away by the alien task force in what was supposed to be a cliffhanger season finale but wound up being a series finale? Hilarious. What a downer ending.

Then they had to do go that stinkin' TV movie a few years later and mess it all up.

I wish the ALF series had turned out to be all like the pilot. A crudely-mannered alien who kept trying to give beer to the kids would have been swell.
