Agreed with that he said up until the 'violent video games are good for us' portion. Anyone who studies media and its effects on society know the Catharsis Hypothesis has been proven false. Research has shown that playing violent video games doesn't 'purge' ones hostile tendencies.

Having said that I don't think they are inherently bad for us either. Each person is going to take each piece of media a different way. Watching violence and sex on TV (or in video games) will effect me differently than the next person. It's just science...

Not at all. I liked Altair better but Ezio is a far better "character". Most of that being Ubisoft actually spent time developing the character of Ezio instead of flushing him down the toilet like they did with Altair.
Just my personal opinion on it. I'm sure someone will have an entire list of why Ezio is better but Altair is still my favorite. Man what a character he could have been...hope Revelations does him justice.

Game does look great. Was unsure about Death being the main character but as long as it works with the story then I'm satisfied.

Honestly though, the ending to Darksiders was Badass. Which is probably part of the reason why I wanted to continue right from that point with War.

Am I the only one who wonders why they are pumping out XIII-2 instead of Versus XIII? Considering XIII garnered a lot of hate from Final Fantasy purists, I'm shocked they are pushing this out so soon. If one thing Square does its they take time (understatement) to develop their games.
I'll reiterate...where the hell is Versus!?

Yeah Angelus. Haven't heard anything about her but I just hope this one is as good as the first. The Darkness had one of the best endings I've seen this gen.

If you can pick it up for dirt cheap (which you should be able to) then yes it's worth it. IMO the games storyline starts out good but falls flat towards the middle.

Honestly, the only reason this game gets compared to inFamous is because it was released around the same time. Yes they are both "super hero type characters" and yes both games are open world but that's where the similarities stop.

If your looking for a decent open world game where you can slice and dice enemies while elbow dropping a tank then this game is for you. If not then save for Infamous 2...

Couldn't agree more. All I would add to what you've written is:
5) Coop through Campaign or a side campaign.
6) Longer single player campaign. Loved the game but the story blew and was short as hell. Two of the main reasons why Mirror's Edge didn't sell as well. Use your brain EA and give the people what they want.

Can't wait, glad to see my Plus membership is getting me something.
