I have the non xbox branded version of this called the 520, and the 880. I use the 880 with my primary set up and it is better, what with the rechargeable cradle and most importantly dedicated page-up/page-down buttons which is a must if you use digital cable boxes or Tivo. The 520 is fine for the bedroom, but if you are only going to get one I recommend going with the 880. Plus the color screen is nifty.
how many would be willing to pay 1200 to 1500 bucks more for a laptop with a 12-15 hour battery life operating at full tilt with screen at maximum brightness. quite a few I'd imagine. if such a thing existed.
I also think the launch titles were too heavily slanted towards first person shooters. There was nothing for gamers like me who are not that into sports/car games or fps. That left the rest of us with Kameo, not exaclty a game to get the blood pumping. I'd like to have a 360 by the time the new Splinter Cell is released.
