After getting terribly drunk I tried playing and somehow sent a tell to someone that consisted of all w's (wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww). I apologized and told him I was wasted and he told me about his times playing super smash brothers... I laughed.
My friends and I still meet up and play WoW over LAN. It's been more fun than sitting along at home and playing with them-- being in the same room while running a couple instances makes for a better mood I think.
Not to mention everyone usually gets drunk and we end up steamrolling through Westfall and having what seems like the entire Alliance faction come to stop us. For the Horde!
That's like asking if I'll miss the chance to be crammed in a bus, totally aflame, with 40 screaming babies that spit acid and are hell bent on ripping my nuts off.
I can agree with the need for variety in character models, but from a production standpoint, that would take a lot of time and energy to make say-- two different body types along with the default.
There's the character modeling, bone system, skinning, mapping, and checking the model for abnormalities in the character animation. It's really not as easy as everyone thinks or would like it to be (I'm an animator).
I would imagine WoW being one big handful for the blizz team, but maybe one day they can give us stuff like true character customization.
We had some fun on the Destromath server last night. Un'goro crater suddenly vanished while I was in it, along with mobs disappearing, but able to hit me for damage and me dying because I can't target them.
My guild and I saw 3 bots farming the shoreline in Tanaris. What was funny is that there were two alliance warlocks and one horde warlock running by each other with no problem (I'm on Destromath-PvP). Usually Destro adheres to the "if it's red it's dead" rule, so we found this unusual. We decided to test this and attack the one gnome lock, then the other, no reactions-- free honor kills!
