Believe it or not, there's actually quite a colorful palette in this game. I just finished watching the GT video review, and it shows jungles, beaches, and even some underwater action. Dont get me wrong, the game still has the gray drab in some areas, but Epic has definitely opened up its palette.

Im wondering the same thing also. It's $2.43 for me too. I wonder if it was today only, meaning "today" in Japan or wherever these devs are because I'm not seeing it for $1.29. And I'd bite at that price.
