I know I'm getting a bit ahead of myself here, but does anyone else hope that 343 will add the lost ending (possibly what was covered in Halo: Uprising) to the inevitable Halo 2 Anniversary release in 2014, which Bungie had to cut and leave us hanging with that incredibly frustrating cliffhanger due to time constraints?
I actually really enjoyed Rise of Nighmares. Perfect? No. Campy and derivative? Sure. Totally fun to have complete freedom of movement in a Kinect game along with a crazy assortment of melee weapons to decimate the zombie hordes with? Absolutely. I didn't experience any clumsiness with the walking controls either, but I would've preferred walking in place or swinging my arms like I was walking to just putting a foot forward. Hoping for an improved and expanded upon sequel, looking forward to Haunt...
I could be quite happy about this if it proved to be true. I'm all for seeing Halo on the big screen, and stepping around the dilemma of how to bring Master Chief to life (actor choice/possible removal of helmet/mucking around with the games' storylines, etc) and diving into the Expanded Haloverse (with Greg Bear's novels no less) might be the way to do it.
