I don't get it. Am I supposed to compare this post with your first one? Is it supposed to seem more intelligent the second time you say it? Not working for me.
I saw a video of this yesterday and purchased it on Steam. This game is amazing. It brings back the feel of Portal but also is completely fresh in its own way. I completed it in two sittings. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzle games.
Maybe I came off as a little too prudish in my initial comment. What I was saying had more to do with a lack of professionalism than with any offended moral sensibilities. Profanity can definitely be expressive and funny in the right circumstances, but I feel that its use in a headline, on any website or blog that aspires to journalistic integrity, is misplaced and unprofessional.
Honestly XIII was the first Final Fantasy game I have ever played, so I didn't enter into it with any preconceived ideas about what a Final Fantasy game "is". I agree that it had a host of issues that could certainly be addressed. However, I really enjoyed the linearity, lack of towns, etc. It helped me complete a JRPG that otherwise I might have been bogged down in, like many other's this generation.
I agree that no change just for loyalty's sake is rather foolish. For me it's more about keeping the spirit of a game I really enjoyed. As long as new changes don't significantly alter the structure it will still work for me.
I'm one of those crazy people who really enjoyed XIII. So I hope that this demo doesn't change things up too much. I guess that makes us enemies. Best of luck to you.
Oh, and someone get this guy a detective medal or something. He cleverly deduced that this is all a marketing ploy. And can we stop whining already about how Bioware sucks and ruins everything. That was so 2011.
I love the idea of getting something from a demo. I was planning on playing Reckoning's demo anyway so this works out great. This is how you market extras in a game (as long as both Silver and Gold members on LIVE have the same access).
