I never got into the first game, namely because the concept art that was shown promised something so unique and incredible for a Disney product that by the time the finished game was released it just looked so disappointing.
I give THQ 2 more years before they go under, and thats being generous. Was really excited about the idea of a 40K MMO, but I'm really sorry to see so many people lose their jobs.

My brother tried to tease me into coming back with that Scroll, but I'm good. The fact of the matter is that a lot of the people who started with vanilla are moving on to new phases of their lives. Whether its school, work, family, or even all of those. Cata really was the nail in the coffin for me personally. I loved what they did with the old world, but the lvl 80-85 stuff was a real bore IMO. I'm sure what the scroll offers will intrigue some to come back and the new content in MoP for others. The real question is how long will the people coming back actually stay? Not to say this in a negative way but I think WoW will never reach the 11 million mark again.
The forum thread is hilarious, the Corporate Officer comes in all hopefully like "Hey lets catch those bad guys!" then two pages of pro-hackers later he comes back all defeated and closes the thread. Its priceless!

Siege of Org sounds interesting, but not enough to bring me back. This is less of an expansion and more of a fan service to keep as many players as they can from jumping ship. Thanks but no thanks
