@sonicspike41 Yeah definitely the best RTS I have played on console. I think mainly because the controls flowed right. I know what you mean by the depth though it was very simplified(mainly the economy system where you hardly even had to pay attention and the units didn't have very much variety to make for a surprising battle). But I believed there was very good balance in units in the game and the maps were extremely good. I started playing age of empires 2 back almost 10 years ago and thought it was a great game and just got the .10 cent age of empires 3.
I think considering they did the best job on porting an RTS to the console. Because I don't have to worry about this and that or sit in a certain position as on the computer and drop a couple thousand like I hear to run some of these games. Although I may not be able to use an xbox for work, internet, and have to pay money for service and buy the console. It is worth the ease and convenience that I get with console gaming and hope there will be more RTS games on the console beside C&C. Because those have gone down the tube *in my opinion* since they put it on the console.

I am quite an active halo wars player. It is one of the only games that I consistently play on xbox. Reach didn't woo me, only thing I play besides halo wars is black ops and mass effect, as of now. As long as they are not disbanding online like how EA did with LOTR Conquest which luckily only two of us bought before we saw we couldn't play with each other even in a private game.

I didn't know they had stats or an active forum going but I know during the weekend there is a consistent 9-10,000 online in halo wars, so I wouldn't be surprised by a decent sized forum. Too bad for those stat goers first time I know of it and last time I'll probably hear about it.

final note I want halo wars 2 any idea if that is 343s project. Or are they going to take the money making side and make a halo (insert here). Because I know there are quite a few people from ensemble in 343.

I know when I spend my money on xbox live they are thinking about the average joe. They are not spending time on ridiculous things that were absolutely fine before. We need these improvements because having the option to play some of your favorite games for the original xbox with friends online is something that was horrible to have. I hated having the option to get friends together and relive some battlefront 1/2 or halo 2 online. I mean who wouldn't want to send out hundreds of friend requests to random people it sounds a lot better than having the option between an original xbox live game or 360 game.

seriously there were a good 20,000-30,000 solid that would play original xbox games online. They really did not need to increase the friends list that much at the cost of online for the original xbox. I should work at Microsoft so I can think of ways to annoy people because that is what they do. I could do deals of the week like 15% off of Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 1 DLC. Or 10% off the COD 4 map pack. Or I could discount 80 microsoft points off of Roboblitz and 25% off of movies that are very unpopular yet I keep them at a certain price for some idiotic reason.

I am not really mad I just felt like being sarcastic (the deals made me laugh those sound like pretty good ones am I right)I will admit that it is annoying. I just think it is such a strange thing to trade for. well no use now whats done is done although I doubt I will use it considering I dont talk or play with people that I dont actually know, we already have a full party as it is. I would have taken a bigger party system though along with this.

Reach, my xbox, and an unlimited supply of spare pants, because playing Reach gets "messy" if you know what I mean. My dignity would unfortunately have to stay behind.

I definitely liked Nylund more. It really is a shame that he wont be. I am at a halt with this. Because I am happy that there will be some closure but sad that I may not like the writing style or that the person may not understand halo or the characters that Nylund has brought to life through his writing. It is hard to really make a story that is supposed to continue and it based off of somebody's work they did. It would be like if somebody had to finish The Return of the King for Tolkien. I just dont think it will work out because they dont know who the characters are as much as the first writer. Because if I am not mistaken Bungie gave Nyuland some ground rules but had most of his creativity to create the characters and fill in the story. First Strike was my favorite and Will in Ghost of Onyx is BA. That is all.

@MystileArmor I hear that. I ended up just running around until I got bored. Not only that but my save games once I got around to the underground area where the guy is in a van, disappeared not only once but twice. I got frustrated with that part so I think I would just get away from the xbox and quit. I guess it made the save game disappear. Hopefully with Co-op it will be easier. Because I just want to kill zombies and have fun.

I am confused. What the hell is Lucas thinking has he become this deranged at old age or whoever is making these decisions. This is the conversation I take happened as follows

"Let's not try and hire the back then Pandemic people and not see if they can make a third Battlefront for this generation of consoles. Let us put aside the fact that the battlefront series is the best-selling line of star wars games ever."
" How about instead...we make another Lego game on the clone wars cartoons not only that how about we take it up a notch and use the crappy one instead of the old one that was mind blowing."

tired of all this. There was a time in gaming when if it was a star wars game it was amazing. Does anyone remember that of course there were some that were meh. But games like Jedi Power Battles, that vehicle game for PS1, Podracer series, Battlefront series, Jedi Knight series, KoTOR series, Republic Commando. That is easily ten games anybody agree with the golden age of Star Wars games.
Now all we have is the force unleashed, and horrible cartoon show interpretations. Lego star wars TCS is good but can not be put into my list.

I love portal so much. When I am sitting around in the xbox live party waiting for everybody to finish their game I will play it. I dont know how many times I have beat it but they are countless all I know is I can beat it in an hour now(still not good enough for those time/portal/steps taken challenges those are pretty difficult I can hardly even do the first levels). I hope they do another bundle because I love half-life also about the same. and would enjoy some updates/new maps for TF2. Or a combo with a Left 4 Dead in the pack. I'll see if they have a combo pack but if not I'll probably still pick up the game.
