I'm so glad I punished myself with engineering for it to finally pay off, Blizzard has been so nice recently....although I am waiting for the new engineering mount to say:

"Chance during flight for 'slight' malfunction

Well, I agree and disagree. Getting the epic flying mount for someone who doesn't buy gold is an epic achievement. It took me a lot of dailies to finally get the money to buy one....sigh, so much epic hunter loot I could've bought instead. Still, gold farming kinda ruins it, but it was the same with the original epic land mount.

But I will say, it isn't impossible to get even if you are casual. I made all my money playing about half an hour during the week and maybe two hours on the weekends, with sometimes a KZ run on the weekends. It requires patience much more than anything else. It is a bonus, not something that everyone is gonna have, I know I am never gonna try to earn one on any of my alts.

Also just so you all know, this is coming from a man who didn't own a land epic mount before BC and didn't get one until level 62.....talk about slow.

Thank goodness we have Ursad here, his is giving us a perfect example of what this article is talking about. He's not a complete jerk, but a wonderful teacher.

In all seriousness, I've been in more than my fair share of guilds with plenty of women in them. There's always plenty of fun comments, but nothing demeaning, hell stuff like that happens betweens the guys too, all in good fun.

I've never been in a group where a guy was being an idiot towards a woman, but I can easily imagine it happening. With millions of users not everyone can be great, but at least you can mute people in voice chat, right?

Awww....this is very insulting, you know you don't have to go generalizing fraternities like that, not all of them are a bunch of jocks/drunks. Most people in my fraternity would rather sit down with a good RPG or action/adventure game then a shooter. Also, who the hell is 24 and still in college?

Joystiq sure can act stupid sometimes. This is the equivalent of stating that the toy that comes in a box of cereal cost three dollars. It was the cereal that cost the money, the toy was a FREE bonus. I would have to say no one is going out and buy stuff on a credit card to earn a PS3.
