It's kind of funny that you say that, because if you checked Bioware's company forums- as little as two weeks ago- a ton of people were freaking out over how there was allegedly no marketing for the game.

It doesn't really work like that. The choice isn't between having the content in the game or having it as DLC; it's a matter of the content existing as DLC or not existing at all. It's planned for and budgeted separately from the main game. I suppose you can blame EA for wanting to do things like this, but it's not a matter of withholding stuff that would have been in the game. It's a matter of producing material that otherwise would have been cut or never created in the first place.

I'll probably write a musical trilogy in D minor, which I always find to be the saddest of all keys.

@SkyMasterson One factor in the quick turnaround is that DAO was largely finished by March last year but still delayed until November. In that time they did a lot of the pre-production work for the new game.

There's actually a post on their forums about this today.

Additionally, given the way it functions as a Windows Media Center extender, I also use it as a DVR.
