Boy, I know that in this modern identity-thefty, cyber-crimey, text-message-scammy world, I am extremely eager to send texts to random numbers I see in a restroom.
Oh, I am nitpicking for sure. I said my piece about this way back when it started happening and have left it alone since. But the fact that this movie was missing from the filmography that they linked to was just too rich to go unremarked.
I'm sure the writers here know what's what and they are just doing what the head office at AOL is telling them to. It's just too bad that because AOL wants to pursue their failed 1990s-era strategy of having their own little crappy version of the internet, that Cinematical has to make their site worse and make more work (yes, a minuscule amount) for me. I assume AOL bought these Weblogs Inc sites based them being quality sites, then decides a good move would be to tie them more closely to the sinking ship of the AOL empire. Doesn't seem that smart to me, but hey I'm not an internet-media executive so maybe I'm wrong. Probably lots of ad revenue to be made.
I agree that the writers here do a great job, that's why I've stuck with it despite the AOL stink emanating from it.
LOL, the Moviefone page for Barry Levinson DOESN'T EVEN LIST THIS FILM. I remember way back when you guys started moving to Moviefone/AOL Movies links instead of IMDB; I knew it was a terrible idea. Being shackled to corporate synergy is undermining your site.
"Instead, it's about an alien race whose souls have taken over the planet, inserting themselves into their human hosts by erasing their minds and taking over."
