@216 Have you played Dragon Quest 8? Best cell-shading outside of Wind Waker in my opinion.

@(Unverified) Miyazaki is the current Walt Disney. Howls Moving Castle is a must see.

@Giggman

rent a Miyazaki film, and then say that. Try Spirited Away or Howls Moving Castle.

Level 5 did Dragon Quest 8 a few years back, and I considered it to be the ultimate traditional rpg. Leastways one of my favorites. All the trappings and familiarity of old-school with production values and artwork of modern day. Not to mention the score and the story were both fantastic. I don't believe it sold well in the Americas, so if this style and game looks like it could be up your alley, do yourself a favor and at least youtube Dragon Quest 8. It appears this is a true successor to that excellent game. And the fact that it bears the Studio Ghibli moniker... Well it shows how much they trust Level 5. This title along with The Last Guardian next year, it seems 2011 is shaping up to be a banner year for true fantasy and whimsical originality in gaming.

Interview: Capcom's Rey Jimenez on Bionic Commando Rearmed 2

Look, I'll reserve judgement till i play the game (which i will) but there better be some prologue introductory level explaining this whole new jumping mechanism. Were his knees made bionic? Did his graham cracker hips get an update? I mean to say, if we're going to puss-off lets get well into it. Is there an auto-aim as well? Can I just watch this game play itself out via a video? I don't need all the aggravation of trying. Will it be coming out on Leap Frog platforms also? Skill and timing are over rated, any way.
