I'm also a die hard Darkness reader but I can undesrtand that this Estacado isn't the same one of the comics just as Grant Morrison's Christoper Nolan's or Arkham City's Bats aren't the same ones..

I'd love to see a Darkness game whose plot involves the Trinity or where Jackie's powers are almost godlike as in the comics but just because its protagonist is underpowered compared to the original one doesn't make this game to be lame.

My mistake with backtracking I meant exploration.

This games is looking better and better but the addition of MP and the removal of back tracking still piss me off.

Why it's lame?
In the first Darkness you did the exact same thing with the daemonic arm just with more awkwards controls.
