British Wii shortages expected into 2007

hmmm... odd that both Joystiq and Kotaku used a similiar picture for their similiar stories...

PSP v3.0 available now, makes friends with PS3

The on-line manual (new feature in ver3.0) says you need a PS3 to download PS1 titles for your PSP. This is pure crap...

New Wii owners: your impressions?

Nov 20th 2006 11:05AM (Joystiq)
I'm going with 'meh' as well. Had high hopes, but Wii sports and Super Monkey Ball left me with a 'fizzled' feeling. All I kept thinking was, "I don't think I can get into this". Haven't touched Zelda yet. I think the Wii will be more of a 'party system' for when the non-gaming friends are over and want to try it out (sorta like how Guitar Hero and DDR come out now at our house).

Maybe it's just the launch lineup, but my opinion of the system right now is pretty low. sorry Nintendo, it's as hard to say as it is to hear :(

9. Philips Norelco 6in1 Professional Grooming Kit

Because just today my wife tried to pull a noise hair out of my nose :(

No one should ever have to go through that - at least not more than once hopefully.

I've got a Norelco Body Groomer, but it's quite difficult to cram the thing up my nose.

thanks

Can First-Person Shooters flourish on the PSP?

Jan 17th 2006 1:24PM (Joystiq Playstation)
Star Wars Battlefront II was a frustrating experience for me on the PSP due to the controls. Forget about lining up headshots as a sniper using the face buttons.

Its a real pity the PSP doesn't boast two analog nubs, as that would've made a world of difference for FPS games. Not to mention Katamari... eeeek...

I've all but written FPS off for me on the PSP. Even Splinter Cell Essentials is getting a "hmmmmmmm" type response from my wallet based purely on the controls alone.

New DS design coming Jan. 16th?
